Soggy but great day at Novice Aquathlon

The weather was unfortunately not that great for the Novice Aquathlon but that was more than made up for by the enthusiasm of all the new members!

There was a solid turnout of 16 people - a bit down on last year but still good given the cold, wet weather.

John Gardner won convincingly with a time of 13:42, almost 2 minutes ahead of 2nd place Jon Connolly. Celeste Renaud won the women's race in a time of 16:51, with Tiger Hills coming 2nd.

It bodes well for the season ahead that there are so many keen people already!
